Six labourers have been declared dead by doctors, whereas rescue team have extricated 16 labourers from the building debris, District Magistrate Balraj Singh said.
Singh, who inspected the site, where rescue operations were being carried out, told reporters that a magisterial probe has been ordered into the incident.
"Once the probe report is handed over, we will be able to take the suitable action against those found guilty for the incident, he said.
The rescue operations are in full swing, he said adding, due to the hard worker of the rescue workers many people have been pulled out of the debris.
Rescue operations are still on, police said adding, the injured have been admitted to Badshah Khan Government Hospital.
Many labourers were feared trapped under the debris of a three-storeyed under-construction building which collapsed in Sector 88 of Greater Faridabad area yesterday, police said.
