According to the protesters, they were denied LPG cylinder by the LPG agency despite an advance booking.
The protesters claimed that a woman, who had been standing in queue for over five hours, fainted after she was denied a LPG cylinder by the agency.
The protesters shouted slogans against the agency and demanded an immediate action against the concerned people.
Sampat Singh, an official of Food and Supplies department, met the protesters and assured them that they would soon get LPG cylinders.
Meanwhile, the agency owner denied any black-marketing of cylinders and said the shortage was because of a delay in the arrival of LPG cylinders at the outlet.
