A farmer today allegedly committed suicide in Bisandi village here with his family claiming he took the extreme step as he was unable to repay a loan.
Biharilal (45), committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in his house, police said.
The family members of the farmer said he was depressed over the failure to repay a loan of Rs. 1.5 lakh due to which he took the extreme step.
The body has been sent for postmortem, police said.
