A 45-year-old farmer was electrocuted while he was switching on the water booster in his agriculture field, police said today.
The incident occurred on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday in Kachnariya village which comes under the jurisdiction of Dablana police station, they said.
The body was handed over to family members after post- mortem, they added.

In another incident, a 35-year-old farmer was killed when he was allegedly hit by an unknown vehicle yesterday, the police said.
The deceased was identified as Ramdhan Gujar, a resident of Khataro Ka Kheda village, they said.
A case was registered against the unknown driver, they said.
Meanwhile, one person was killed and two others were injured after their car was hit by a vehicle and fell into a canal, a police officer said.
The deceased was identified as Kunjbihari Naagar, 24, a resident of Bajaranjpura area which comes under the jurisdiction of Kunhari police station.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening when Naagar and his two friends were on their way to Badgaun, said Shoket Ali, Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) at Kunhari police station.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, Ali said.
