A 52-year-old farmer was allegedly electrocuted to death in Hasanpur village here today.
"Digambar (52) from village Hasanpur came in the grip of lightening while he was returning home from his fields, and was killed on the spot," police said.
His body has been sent for post-mortem, they said.
In another incident, a 25-year-old man died of electric shock as he came in contact with a high tension live wire in a field at Jait area this morning.
The deceased was identified as Om Prakash, a native of Tosh village, police said, adding that the victim had gone to attend nature's call when he met with the fatal accident.
