Police today booked two persons in connection with the murder of a farmer at Khindriya village under Chapar police police station in the district.
According to Circle Officer Akil Ahmad, police registered the case against Sarfaraz and Amjad who have been absconding since last evening.
Kallu was shot dead and his brother Deepak seriously injured allegedly by the duo last evening.
An old enmity was stated as the reason behind the murder. Security has been tightened in the village as a precautionary measure.
