Farmer, mechanic electrocuted to death in Haryana

A 24-year-old farmer and a motor mechanic were electrocuted to death today, while two other labours injured after they came in contact with a live wire in Mehuwala village here, police said.

The farmer Ravinder Singh and motor mechanic Gursewak (27) were electrocuted and died at the spot while replacing a motor of a tubewell here, police said.

Both came in contact with high voltage power wires. The current was so powerful that both suffered electric shock and died instantly, police said.

Two labourers Ram Pal and Manoj, who were also working with them, were injured and have been admitted to hospital, they said.
 

Police have sent the bodies to civil hospital for postmortem.
