A 60-year-old farmer was murdered in Nadiyali village near Ambala City, police said today.
A dispute between two families over supplying water in a field apparently led to the killing, they said.
Police has registered a case against five persons at Naggal police station this morning.
The body was brought to civil hospital here for postmortem examination.
No arrest has been made so far in connection with the incident, which took place last night.
