Farmer, wife electrocuted to death in Rajasthan

A 50-year-old farmer and his wife were electrocuted to death while irrigating their agriculture field at Khetlavas in Jalore district in the wee hours of today.

Khidaram Choudhary was electrocuted to death after coming in contact with a live wire while trying to fix the water supply of the drip irrigation system, police said.

His wife Panku Devi (42) too was killed on the spot as she tried to save him, they said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said.
