A delegation of the All Jammu and Kashmir Kissan Union today handed over a memorandum in this regard to the Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri.

"A comprehensive farm policy needs to be formulated for the state so that losses caused to standing crops, orchards and livestock due to various calamities could be offset by providing full compensation to the affected farmers," Ashok Sharma, chairman of the union, said.
