: New varieties of crops and latest innovations and technologies will be on display at an exhibition organised on 'Farmers Day,' to be observed at Tamil Nadu Agricultural Univeresity here on January eight.
Varieties of crops, both in the agriculture and horticultural field, will be showcased for the benefit of farmers, a university release said here today
Agri entrepreneurs, private firms and progressive busines ventures would also showcase their products and commodities in 50 indoor and 10 outdoor stalls that day, in which about 5,000 farmers are expected to attend, it said.
Awards will be presented to outstanding farmers for their contribution in agriculure and allied sectos, where they excelled in production, value addition by using the university technological interventions, the release said.
