Farmers today blocked the entry to an administrative complex here for three hours protesting the alleged indifference shown by state government toward their demands.

The farmers under the banner of BKU Ekta (Ugrahan) and Punjab Khet Majdoor Union blocked the main gate of district administrative complex, Moga, saying the state did not pay any heed to their demands.

General Secretary of BKU Ekta Ugrahan, Sukhdev Singh Kokari, while addressing farmers here, said the state government failed to fulfill its promise of giving plots to farm labourers.

Farmers would greet SAD-BJP candidates during election campaigning with black flags and boycott their political rallies, he said.

Kokari also said that farmers were approached by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for support but no decision had been taken yet.
