Former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister and NC patron Farooq Abdullah today visited the famous Raghunath market here, where shopkeepers came out of their establishments to greet him and passersby jostled to have a close look.

Flanked by Jammu provincial president of National Conference (NC) Devender Singh Rana, Abdullah visited the historic Raghunath Bazaar this evening.

At the market, the former chief minister interacted with the people. Abdullah waved at and exchanged pleasantries with the people, mostly Vaishno Devi pilgrims, who had assembled on the pavements to have a closer look at him.

He also held brief interactions with the members of trade and commerce bodies.

On May 15, Abdullah had made his first public appearance in his 'trademark style' post last year's organ transplant, when he visited the famous Raghunath market.
