Actress Kerry Washington uses fashion as a 'creative outlet' to express herself.
The 'Django Unchained' actress said she always picks her own outfits for glitzy events as she enjoys the freedom of wearing an ensemble she feels relaxed in, reported Contactmusic.
"I work very closely with my stylist. She and I are a team. It's a creative outlet for me. I don't choose to wear anything that I'm going to be uncomfortable in and I don't dress for other people's opinions. I dress for my own opinions," she said.
The 36-year-old beauty said she is no stranger to experimenting with her style and believes she will one day find an outfit which stands out from the others.
