In honour of Paul Walker, a part of the proceeds from 'Fast & Furious 6' DVD sales will be donated to the late actor's charity 'Reach Out Worldwide'.

Universal Pictures's took the decision following Walker's sudden and devastating death last Saturday, which came as a shock to his fans, family and friends around the world, the Hollywood Reporter said.

The 'Pleasantville' actor started the non-profit aid organisation after he returned from a trip to Haiti in 2010, shortly after the country was devastated by massive earthquake.

ROWW defines itself as "a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts."

"With the passing of Paul, the world has lost a man who spent a great deal of his life in service to others. We share in the deep grief of his family, friends and the countless fans who love him," said Donna Langley, Universal Pictures chairman.

"We keep Paul's memory alive and honour his legacy through continued support of Reach Out WorldWide, the nonprofit he founded to give hope to those who must rebuild after they have experienced natural disasters," she added.
