A day after the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who is on a hunger strike, was shifted from jail to a government hospital here, his lawyer today moved the special CBI court seeking permission for a family member to attend to him.
Either Jagan's wife Y S Bharati or mother Y S Vijayamma be allowed to attend to him at the Osmania General Hospital (OGH), the application said.
The CBI opposed the petition stating that the law does not provide for such a facility for a jailed accused.

The jailed Kadapa MP, arrested by CBI on corruption charges in May last year and lodged at the Chanchalguda Central Prison here, launched an indefinite hunger strike on Sunday against the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
In view of his deteriorating health, the jail authorities and police shifted him to the hospital late last night.
