A father-daughter duo committed suicide after hanging themselves from the ceiling of a shop in Nabha subdivision of this district today, police said.
Jagtar Singh (42), resident of Dashmesh Colony, who has an electrical shop at Alohran Gate went to his shop in the morning along with his 17-year-old daughter Harsimran Kaur, a student of class 12.
Both committed suicide by hanging themselves from the ceiling of the shop, police said.
The reason for the extreme step was not yet known, they said.
