A man and his daughter died, and six others injured, in a head-on collision between a car and an autorikshaw in Rupauli village of Bihar's Samastipur district today.
The victims were in autorikshaw which was on way to Satanpur village when a speeding car hit it, police said.
Mahesh Ram and his four-year-old daughter Sakshi Kumari died on the spot. His wife is among six injured in the accident, the OC added.
The car driver managed to flee, but both the vehicles were seized.
