A man and his younger son died while his elder son seriously got injured when a bus allegedly rammed into their motorcycle at the Kidwai nagar area here, police said today.
The victims, Satyanarayan (50) and his son Satyam (22) died in the accident while the other son Abhishek (25) survived with severe injuries, police said.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident took place when the victims were on the way to their shop and a speeding city bus hit into a car and then rammed their motorcycle.
The victims were taken to the government hospital where doctors declared the father and the son brought dead while Abhishek was admitted in a serious condition, he said.
Police managed to nab the bus driver, Rajkumar, with the help of locals, he said.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for the post-mortem, they said, adding police is investigating the matter.
