Players at FC Goa got the first feel of training under legendary Brazilian footballer Zico as they went about their paces at the Tilak Maidan Stadium here under the watchful eyes of the coach-cum-manager.

Zico was assisted by Arthur Papas.

"It's the first day. I've observed the team today but the boys look physically fit and ready to go, especially the Indian players. Starting tomorrow we will start training twice a day. In the days to follow, when I get to know the teams better, I will be sharing my tactical strategy and philosophy with the team," Zico said after the session.

The Indian players, including Rowilson Rodrigues, Clifford Miranda, Jewel Raja and Alwyn George, seemed to have tried hard to impress the coach with their skills.

France's Robert Pires is the Goa outfit's most well-known player.
