FC Goa conducts training session at Nagoa Village

After returning from Rio de Janeiro following a successful pre-season outing, FC Goa squad today held their first training session at the Nagoa Village panchayat ground in Nagoa.

The players were put through light training exercises by the various coaches under the watchful eye of Chief coach and manager Zico.

FC Goa will play two more friendly games in Goa against Pune-based, DSK Shivajians on September 29th at the training facility. Next day another pre-season friendly has been scheduled against the U-19 Indian national squad in preparation for a competitive season of football in the Hero Indian Super League.

FC Goa will kick off their campaign against NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on October 4.
 

The first home match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda will be held on October 8 when the home side lock horns with Antonio Lopez Habas and FC Pune City in what promises to be an exhilarating contest.
