: FCA India, which has sold 27,000 units of Jeep Compass in the country since the launch in August 2017, has rolled out of a new variant of its only locally made model in the country, Jeep Compass, with 'Limited Plus', which is an upmarket variant.
FCA has so far sold more than 25,000 units of the Compass in the country in the first 10 months of the launch, which has been developed fully in the country and launched commercially in August 2017.
Including the top-of-the-line Limited Plus variant, the entire Compass range is now available between Rs 15.35 lakh and Rs 22.85 lakh, said the company, which reportedly has already recovered its entire investments of around USD 250 million with the Compass sales alone.
"We have manufactured over 37,000 Compass units and exported 10,000 of them since the launch 13 months ago. The State Bank has become the first bank to sign an agreement with the Quality Council of India to offer 'zero defect, zero effect (ZED) certification scheme of the MSME ministry.
As a part of this agreement, SBI has decided to offer concessions in pricing/processing charges for MSMEs having better ZED ratings. SBI is also considering incorporating ZED rating as a parameter in its internal rating system.
The ZED certification scheme for MSMEs is aimed at enhancing their global competitiveness on quality and environment aspects in their systems and processes.
