FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp has been named India's best company to work for in the transportation industry by the Great Place to Work Institute.
The organisation also ranked FedEx among the top 20 best companies to work for among all companies in India.
The survey is an annual study of workplace excellence and is based on confidential employee feedback and an audit of management processes by the Great Place to Work Institute. This year, more than 700 organisations undertook this assessment and participated in the best workplaces list across India.

Transport Corporation of India incorporates 'TCI Ventures Ltd' * Transport Corporation of India Ltd today announced the incorporation of a wholly-owned subsidiary 'TCI Ventures Ltd'.
"The Company has successfully incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary by the name, 'TCI Ventures Limited'," the company said in a BSE filing.
Tata Metaliks appoints Sandeep Kumar as Additional Director
* Tata Metaliks Ltd, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, today said it has appointed Sandeep Kumar as Additional Director and Executive Director from April 10.
Kumar is at present Executive-In-Charge of industrial by-products management division (IBMD) profit centre of Tata Steel and was appointed Additional Director of TML yesterday.
Company's "board of directors at a meeting yesterday has appointed Sandeep Kumar Additional Director with effect from March 20 and Executive Director with effect from April 10, 2017," the Tata Group firm said in a BSE filing.
Kumar is a mining engineer from ISM, Dhanbad. In his earlier stints, he has handled various responsibilities including export and trading of minerals, ferro-alloys, non- ferrous metals and various steel products at various locations in India and abroad, the company said.
Tata Metaliks is one of the biggest pig iron manufacturing and selling companies of India, with an annual production capacity of 3.45 lakh tonnes.
Shares of the company today ended 0.15 per cent up at Rs 514.70 apiece on BSE.

HUL commences production at new plant in Assam * FMCG major Hindustan Unilever today said it has commenced commercial production at its new manufacturing unit in Assam from March 15.
"The company has commenced the commercial production in its new manufacturing unit at Assam on March 15, 2017," it said in a BSE filing.
In July last year, the company said it planned to invest about Rs 1,000 crore to set up a new facility at Doom Dooma in Assam, which will augment the production capacity of personal care products for HUL.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 903.80, up 0.60 per cent from the previous close on BSE.
