Actress Felicity Jones is reportedly in talks to star alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's 'Inferno'.

The 31-year-old 'Theory of Everything' star is in early discussions to join the adaptation of Dan Brown's fourth novel in the Da Vinci Code series, according to Deadline.

Jones is said to be lined up to play the role of Sienna Brooks, who Hanks's Harvard University professor Robert Langdon teams up with.

Doctor Brooks must help Langdon recover his memories in order to piece together a mystery connected to Dante's Inferno and a global plague.

David Koepp has penned the film's script, which follows 'The Da Vinci Code' and 2009 follow-up 'Angels and Demons'.

The Sony Pictures and Imagine Entertainment film will begin shooting in Italy in April 2015.
