Flush with the success of Badshahi Angti and Bomkesh Phire Elo, actor Abir Chatterjee makes fullsome praise of Saswata Chatterjee in his new role as a government appointed crime buster.
"Yes Feluda and Bomkesh both doing well. But Apuda (Saswata) has again proved himself in Ebar Shabor as a cool, earthy, police investigator. We had worked in the thriller format film in Bomkesh series. This time I wish directors think about us given more space as partners-in-probe," Abir told PTI at the premier of the Arindam Sil thriller here.
"From Chotuskone to Ebar Shabir I get to portray roles with different shades. Here my character is etched beautifully and I enjoyed working with Titoda (Dipankar Dey). It was a learning experience to share screen space with a legend like him," actor Paayel Sarkar said.
"The colour scheme in Ebar Shabor is important as it accentuates the whodunit angle," Arindam, a favourite of directors from Anjan Dutta to Rituparno Sengupta, said.
