Vartika Singh, fbb Femina Miss India 2015 2nd runner-up, met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple Yadav.
The CM congratulated her on her win in the beauty contest and they discussed ways to fasten the progress of the state with the use of technology, especially in the health sector.
She expressed her wish to remain rooted to her state and to work hand in hand towards a better and brighter Uttar Pradesh.
Vartika, who hails from Lucknow, received a warm welcome when she visited her hometown following her win in the pageant.
"It is a very special feeling as the love and respect I have received from them is very heart-warming... I am also grateful to Miss India organization for providing this platform and I am looking forward to represent India at an international pageant," she said.
