Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ferozepur Manminder Singh died at his official residence following a cardiac arrest here today.
Family members of 48-year-old Manminder called up his domestic help Satbir Singh around 9:40 AM to check why the SSP was not receiving their phone calls, officials said.
Thereafter, Satbir went to his bedroom and discovered Singh lying unconscious on the floor.

He is survived by his wife, daughter and a son.
Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh condoled the demise of the SSP.
