A private fertilizer company has been shutdown in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district.
A shutdown notice was today put up at the gate of the Phatapukhur fertilizer company, offcials said.
Last month there was tension between the management and the workers after two permanent employes of the company sought transfer which was rejected.
The company has got 85 permanent and 150 temporary employees.
