Fiat Chrysler launches Punto Pure priced up to Rs 5.49 lakh

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India today launched the all new Fiat Punto Pure, priced up to Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company also showcased its all new Linea 125s mid-sized sedan.

The Fiat Punto Pure will be available in both petrol and diesel options. While the petrol option is powered by a 1.2 litre engine and is priced at Rs 4.49 lakh, the diesel variant has a 1.3 litre engine and tagged at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

FCA India also unveiled the Avventura Urban Cross, which will be powered by a 1.4 litre petrol engine.

Speaking at the launch here at the Delhi Auto Expo, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India President and MD Kevin Flynn said: "Punto Pure sticks to its core values of providing superior driving experience and robust build quality along with offering low cost of ownership."
 

It is designed to target the entry-level hatchback segment.

The Linea 125s and the Avventura Urban Cross will be launched subsequently in 2016, he added.

Admitting the need to improve the company's after-sales service, Flynn said: "Innovating and providing better quality sales and after-sales service remains our constant endeavour.

"Growing service network, availability of genuine spare parts at competitive prices and providing 24x7 roadside assistance will continue to play a vital role in driving Fiat's growth story in the future," he added.
