The delegation, led by Ficci Ladies Organisation (FLO) President Neeta Boochra, will be in Bhutan between September 10-14.

The meetings with women leaders and entrepreneurs of Bhutan will help in providing and understanding the existing synergies between Bhutan and India for enhancing and deepening business engagements.

The delegation will explore opportunities in the sectors such as education, textile, hydro power, construction, gems and jewellery, chemicals, garments, art and tourism.

The all-women business delegation will engage in high-level interactions and will meet Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Tobgay; Economic Minister Norbu Wangchuk and the Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck.

The delegation plans to meet women parliamentarians of Bhutan and will have a meeting with the members of Bhutan Association of Women Entrepreneurs (BAOWE).

"The audience with the Queen Mother will help to bring forward FLO's activities on skill upgradation, capacity development and empowerment of women, girl child and youth," Ficci said.
