Six big LED screens have been installed at various markets in south Delhi by the area's civic body to allow people to enjoy the telecast of the FIFA U-17 World Cup matches in the open.
The football jamboree, which kicked off today at the JLN Stadium, will be held in the country till this month end.
"A screen each, has been installed at markets in Punjabi Bagh, Rajouri Garden, Jasola, Dwarka Sector-6, Malviya Nagar and Kailash Colony, where the estimated customer footfall is high," a senior SDMC official said.

Four auto-tippers have also been deployed for carrying the waste from dustbins and nearby places around the stadium. The SDMC has also placed 13 big dustbins for collection of garbage, it said.
"The Health Department of the SDMC has been instructed to undertake daily fogging in the area to curb breeding of mosquitoes.
Further, the veterinary department will also ensure that there is no presence of any stray dogs and cattle near the venue. It has also been decided to remove temporary encroachment around the stadium, the civic body said.
A dedicated control room at Lodhi Colony has been set up to attend issues related to cleanliness around the stadium.
