Irish actor Jamie Dornan says his upcoming film 'Fifty Shades of Grey', which is based on a novel by E L James, is primarily a love story despite its erotic content.
Dornan said he understands why some people thing the story is misogynistic, reported Elle magazine.
"The love story is more important than the BDSM aspect. I mean, we are going to tell a love story, you know, it can't just be what happens in the Red Room, that's not a film. There's so much more going on than that," Dornan said about the movie adaptation.
Dornan is playing a businessman named Christian Grey while Dakota Johnson portrays his girlfriend Ana in the movie, slated for release on February 13.
