File counter in 4 weeks on steps to improve syllabus quality

Taking suo motu cognisance of quality of uniform syllabus prescribed for schools in Tamil Nadu from Class 1 to 10, Madras High court bench today asked education department to file a counter in four weeks on steps taken to regulate and improve its quality.

Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and S Nagamuthu, expressing concern over the quality of uniform syllabus, as reported in a section of the press, sought details of government programmes to regulate and improve the quality of uniform syllabus from Standard 1 to Standard 10 in schools.
