Film makers attracted to J'khand due to its picturesque spots:

Jharkhand Information and Public Relations Department Secretary Sanjay Kumar today said film makers are attracted towards the state due to its picturesque spots, climate and film policy.

The picturesque scenes of Jharkhand were depicted in the film 'Begam Jaan' and likewise Mccluskieganj, near Ranchi, has been shown in 'A Death in the Ganj', he said.

'A Death in the Ganj' was screened today and the government gave Rs 31.25 lakh to the crew members, an official release said.

The release quoted film director Konkana Sen Sharma saying 'A Death in the Ganj' will be released on June 2 across the country.
 

The producer of film Abhishek Choubey said he had his primary education in Jharkhand and the film is very important for him.
