Belgian filmmaker Jonas D'Adesky is thrilled that his debut film '3 Kids', based on victims of the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, is being screened at the on-going International Film Festival of India (IFFI) here.
The director said that the Haitian-Belgian film has made it to three other prestigious film festivals.
"Apart from IFFI, it was also selected for the Toronto International Film Festival, Miami Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival," D'Adesky said.

"I made the film when the kids were 12-years-old. They had a normal home and went to school but one day a terrible earthquake occurs and they leave their home to go on to the city streets," he said, explaining the film's plot.
The filmmaker also said the children did not let him down during the filming.
"It was a great learning experience as the kids did not know we were shooting. In the first part of the film, they are not so good, but later they understood the concept and acted like actors," D'Adesky said.
