Director Abhishek Kapoor, whose last film "Fitoor" did not do well at the box office, says for him filmmaking is a humbling experience and he does not give much importance to the results.

"For me, filmmaking is a very humbling experience. I chase an idea that I would like to watch and I choose to work with people who will respect me," Abhishek told PTI.

Abhishek made his directorial debut with "Aryan" and followed it up with critically acclaimed "Rock On" and "Kai Po Che" but his last film was not a success.

"I put in lot of hard work in my films. Irrespective of the outcome of the film, the journey while working on the film has been interesting and satisfying."

The 45 year old writer-director has begun work on his next which will go on floors in 2017.

"I am working on a couple of ideas. I don't know what I will zero in on as there are 3-4 scripts that I am working on and all are different. I can't give out details till I finalise one."

Abhishek and Farhan were not on talking terms ever since a controversy erupted over the script of "Rock On 2" but during the trailer launch of the movie Farhan had said he misses Abhishek and that he was, is and will always remain a friend.

On this the "Kai Po Che" director says, "I love him very much.
