: A B.Sc. Final year student of a private Arts and Science college here allegedly committed suicide by hanging at his house in Shervarayan hills near Yercaud in the district, police said.
Sub-Inspector of Police (Yercaud) Govindarajan said the boy went home last night in an inebriated state after which his mother scolded him. Later, he went to bed.
His body was found hanging in his room this morning, he said.
