Victims of the Pabanava clash incident were handed over financial assistance from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund by Kaithal Deputy Commissioner today.
The assistance was announced recently by Haryana Public Works Department (Building and Roads) and Industries Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala while resolving the Pabanava incident, an official release said here.
Cheques worth Rs 79.50 lakh were handed over to 282 affected families of Pabanava village. Out of this, 80 families were given a total amount of Rs 16.80 lakh.

A sum of over Rs 38 lakh was given for providing 10 quintals of wheat to each of the 282 'Harijan Ramdasia' families.
Besides, the families were also handed over Rs 14.10 lakh for dry fodder.
Six shopkeepers whose shops were damaged in the incident, were given Rs 1 lakh each for renovating their shops.
Similarly, three villagers who suffered injuries during the incident, were also given cheques of Rs 1 lakh each.
Last month, a violent clash took place between two communities in Pabanava village here over an alleged kidnapping of a girl belonging to an upper caste.
