Armed miscreants today looted Rs six lakh from a financial company employee near a village in Hussainganj police station area in Bihar's Siwan district, the police said.
The incident took place near Chapia village as four miscreants riding on two bikes stopped a motorcycle-borne Western Union Company employee and snatched a bag containing Rs six lakh from him at gunpoint while he was returning to his office after withdrawing the money from State Bank of India, sources said.
A case has been lodged in this connection and raids were being carried out to nab the accused, they said.
