A Chennai-based 35-year-old financier was robbed off Rs 2.84 lakh by a four-member gang in Pusad, police said today.
The accused came on two motorbikes to the hotel, where the financier Anil Jain was staying and looted Rs 2.84 lakh from him, police officials said.
They said that the accused barged into his room and looted the money on a gun-point.
A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code was registered and a probe was on, the officials said.
