A woman staffer of a government- funded fine arts academy here has lodged a police complaint alleging that she was harassed and abused by a senior official in the institution, police said today.
A Delhi Police official said a complaint was received last week and an inquiry has been initiated.
Statements of both parties have been recorded but no case has been registered yet.
In her complaint, the woman staffer of the academy alleged that the official "verbally abused and humiliated" her in the office. She claimed that she was harassed in connection with some official matter.
The police official said that matter will also be raised with the internal ethics body in the academy or whosoever the right person is to obtain further details.
