A Helsinki-based startup has developed an organic drinkable meal that fulfils daily nutrition recommendations.

The meal, called Ambronite, is made with natural ingredients, such as oats, nuts, spinach, and maca and Finnish berries, such as sea-buckthorn and blackcurrant.

The end product is a powder that you can, for example, mix with water or put in a blender to make a shake, Finnfacts reported.

"It's the ideal meal for a busy person who cares about his or her health. Generally speaking, healthy options are in short supply if you want to eat quickly," said Mikko Ikola, one of the founders of Ambronite.

According to Ikola, the meal is free of the artificial additives that are used in similar products made by international competitors.

One Ambronite Meal contains 500 kcal of energy and 30 grammes of high-quality protein, as well as a healthy dosage of various vitamins and all 14 essential minerals and fibre.

The idea for the company stemmed from the practical experiences of Ikola and four of his friends, all of whom share an interest in nutrition.

The makers are developing the product further and have sought contract manufacturers for selling it in the US and Europe.
