A contempt of court case has been registered against ex-MLA of Mundka seat in Delhi Ramvir Shaukeen and Rajbala, chairperson of Tikri nagar panchayat here, police said today.

Shaukeen is already absconding in the case of hatching a conspiracy to help Bhura escape from police custody here.Bhura was carrying a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head.

The court had ordered attachment of Shaukeen and Rajbala's properties about a month ago after they failed to appear before the court, despite repeated summons but to no avail.

Now a new case has been lodged against the two and the attachment proceedings have also been expedited, police said.

Last year on December 15, Amit alias Bhura was got freed by his accomplice when he had come here in connection with a court case. He had also taken away police weapons along with him. Bhura was arrested from Patiala in April.

Barring Shaukeen and Rajbala, the remaining 19 accused in freeing Bhura have been arrested.
