An FIR has been registered against five bank employees, including the branch manager, of a district cooperative bank for allegedly embezzling Rs one crore.
The FIR was registered by Deputy General Manager Jagdish Chandra against branch manager Mahendra Pratap Singh and four other bank employees at Asmoli police station yesterday.
They allegedly withdrew over Rs one crore from the bank using fake cheques and by other means.
