A fire today broke out in Unit-I of Suratgarh Thermal Power Pant in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district.
The fire damaged the unit though no loss of life occurred due to the incident which took place in the wee hours of today, police said.
Prima facie it seems that a short-circuit caused the fire which was put out by fire fighters in a few hours, the police said, adding that the matter was under investigation.
