Fire at two places in Howrah

Fire broke out at two different

places in Howrah causing damage to property, the state fire department officials today said.

While a fire broke out at a godown in Telkalghat under Howrah police station area on Tuesday midnight, the other incident happened at Dhulagarh Bazar within the limits of Sankrail police station area today morning, a fire department official said.

While 23 fire tenders were pressed to service to bring the fire at the godown under control, two tenders were used to control the blaze at Dhulagarh Bazar.

There were no reports on any casualty, fire department official said.
