A fire today broke out at a nationalised bank in MG road here, official sources said.
Six fire tenders fought the blaze in the vacant Syndicate Bank Branch, situated on ground floor at M G Road, for over an hour, according to fire brigade sources.
No casualties has been reported in the incident and the situation is under control, they said.
The cause of fire and extent of damage are being ascertained, sources said.
