At least 20 houses were gutted
by fire in the Three Kilo area under Umrangso police station in Assam's Dima Hasao district. No one was injured.
The fire broke out at around 11.30 pm last night and gutted the houses damaging properties worth several lakhs of rupees, police sources said today.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained as police investigations were on, sources added.
