Fire broke out at a bread-making factory in Govindpura area here today.
"No one was injured," a fire brigade official said, adding that sparks from welding work may have led to the fire.
Some 12,000 litres of inflammable oil were kept in containers inside the factory, of which 5,000 litres were destroyed in the fire, he said.
The smoke billowing from the factory created panic in the area.
