A fire broke out at the city's
popular South City shopping mall on Anwar Shah Road this morning, police said.
Ten fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the fire spotted at around 9 AM in the floor which houses the food court.

There was no report of casualty.
"People were evacuated from the mall. The reason of the fire is not yet known," a senior police officer said.
